A Mother’s Day Gift
Here are a few hints and tips to help you transform your snaps into a wall worthy piece of art!
Make your photography session fun, laugh , run around, let your children jump off chairs, spin... make up jokes and capture the moments.
Light and location are the key ingredients that can transform your photography. Start to look at the light if your subject is squinting or has a harsh shadow on their face move to a different location. If you are photographing indoors then position your family member near a window facing towards and then away see how the light changes – look for the most flattering light and hey presto!
Make sure you are in at least some of the images, there are those important times in life when you need to pass over the camera to somebody else and get in the photograph. Whether it be the birthday cake shot or a family photograph at your favourite location, photographs are memories.
Today we take photographs continually on our phones and that is where they stay. For Mother’s Day print off one of your favourite photographs and pop it into a frame for all to enjoy.
"What I like about photographs is that they capture a moment that's gone forever, impossible to reproduce."
– Karl Lagerfeld
